NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE FOR TICKET HOLDERS
In response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the Australian government’s directive to restrict public gatherings, the scheduled performances of Penn & Teller at the Capitol Theatre from 14-21 April 2020 have been cancelled.
We are saddened to have to make this difficult decision, however our first priority is always the health and safety of our artists, patrons, employees, and the community at large.
Patrons will be automatically refunded in full, as outlined below.
We are working with the producers, the Sydney Opera House, to reschedule the production for a later date. Current ticket holders will be given priority to re-book for the show if you have opted in to receive further communication from us. If you have not, please sign up to Capitol Club here: https://www.capitoltheatre.com.au/subscribe/.
Ticketmaster Credit Card Purchases
If your tickets were purchased from Ticketmaster using a credit card, you will receive a refund of the full purchase price, including booking and processing fees, back onto your card. We will process your refund immediately, however this may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.
Ticketmaster Cash & EFTPOS Sales
If your tickets were purchased from Ticketmaster using cash or EFTPOS, please return to your point of purchase with your tickets for this performance to receive a refund of the full purchase price. People who purchased directly at the Capitol Theatre Box Office can email Capitol.Theatre@Ticketmaster.com.au.
The Ticketmaster Groups department will contact your group organiser to arrange a full refund of your tickets.

If your tickets were purchased in circumstances not listed above, please return to your point of purchase to receive further instruction on a refund of your theatre tickets.
Thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time. We appreciate your support of Penn & Teller and live theatre.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Capitol Theatre again.
